Description |
The history goes back to 18th century when Rukmayya Shenoy s/o Laxman Shenoy migrated to Kaup, a small coastal village between Mangalore and Udipi, in search of better life. He established his root in this place and today his family tree has grown so large that its branches have spread all over the world.
The partial list of this family tree was originally compiled by late Chardappa Narsimha Shenoy in 1935 was saved and made available by Umesh Manjunath Shenoy. This list with other documents found in the ancestral home were then put together by Geetha Gokuldas Shenoy on a spread sheet with the help of her son Prasad Gokuldas Shenoy. This web site acknowledges with thanks their work on our family tree. |
